Exmoor National Park ... a natural Eden... a national treasure.

Exmoor National Park Inspired the hymn "All Things Bright and Beautiful". If you ever wondered what a "purple headed mountain" was, look at the Exmoor webcam.

The Exmoor webcam refreshes every 10 seconds to reflect a tiny glimpse of the awe inspiring natural beauty to be found within 267 square miles of unspoilt wild heather clad moorland, patchwork of fields and wooded combes that is... Exmoor National Park.

The rotating views extend south towards Dunkery Beacon, S.W. over Porlock Vale to Webbers Post, N.W. Ley Hill, Porlock Hill. S.E towards Span Gate. Early mornings are the best time to glimpse red deer on the moor.

Exmoor is home to abundant flora and forna and wildlife, including England's largest mammal, the magnificent wild Red Deer and Exmoor Ponies. The public can roam freely on 600 miles (966 km) of public rights of way and bridlepaths amid a magnificent landscape, a dramatic hogs back coastline, pretty villages, enjoying endless views, tranquillity, starlit nights, and because Exmoor is probably the least visited English National Park... space....

Exmoor was designated a National Park in 1954, and has a population of around 10,000. The economy is driven mainly by small family run tourism, farming, sporting and increasingly I.T.based businesses. Exmoor National Park is located in the southwest of England, 2/3 in Somerset, 1/3 in Devon.
